Google Analytics is a free tool offered by Google that can help you monitor network traffic on your website. Here is a link to where you can register and find out more information about this featurehttp://www.google.com/analytics/

Once you have setup a Google Analytics account, you will need to configure your reCommerce 2.0 site to communicate with your account. First, lets make sure that the required information has been entered into your Google Analytics (GA) account. When you log in to your GA account, click on the Old Version link.



Click the add a new profile option shown in the image below.



Choose new domain and enter your reCommerce 2.0 website address.



Click Finish to save your changes. On the following screen, you will need to copy the UA tracking code or Web Property ID. Also select the single domain option unless otherwise instructed by your web developer or hosting company.



To install the tracking code, log into your ShopRW admin page and click Settings > Modules.



Scroll down the list of the next page and search for Google Analytics. Place a check in the corresponding box provided and click Apply Changes.



Then click the Configure link provided. On the next page, paste the copied UA tracking code and click Apply Changes.



It may take some time before the data is transferred from your website to your Google Analytics account. Please allow a few hours for the data to begin appearing in your GA account.
