Exchange Items
When the customer comes into the store to exchange, click on the Refund button first and scan or enter the item number for the item being returned.

After you have entered the item being brought in, un-click the Refund button which will change the transaction mode.

Now enter the item the customer will be exchanging with.

Click Finish, to complete the transaction.
Note: If there is change left, you may then select a payment type to give back the change. If money is owed back to the customer because the new items' price is less than the the item being returned, you may choose to refund the remaining balance as store credit. Be sure to choose Ignore when prompted if store credit is used.
If money is owed by the customer to pay the difference, you may accept payment and complete the sale as you normally would.
