Doing a Pay Client routine and trying to filter by either of the Item filters, may give unexpected pay out values. One thing you need to keep in mind, any credits and deductions on an account will be taken into consideration regardless of its transaction date.
To see what I mean:
Here is the account inventory screen, notice the dates the items were brought in

Now the transactions history

If I wanted to run a payout for only items brought during the month of April, I would expect to payout the customer $157.15 (For items 1 and 2).

As you can see, the other transactions (The Add Money of $25 and Store Credit of $-9.09) are included even though they did not occur in the month of April. In this case, we will be paying the customer more than expected, but still ultimately balancing the account. The only transaction still open will be the $7 for Item #4.
