View Full Version : How to setup the QuickBooks Link

IMPORTANT: Before you export to QuickBooks...

You will only need to complete the following steps once per company file:

1. Open QuickBooks
2. Click the Edit menu
3. Click Preferences
4. Click Accounting
5. Click Company Preferences
6. Check off the following:

Use account numbers
Required accounts
Use class tracking
Automatically assign general journal entry numbers

7. Click OK

Now to set up your link:

1. Click the QB Link icon from within the Inventory Module. It will then ask you to enter your Serial Number. This number can ONLY be obtained by purchasing a QB Link for Resaleworld.

2. Next you will need to browse to your company file:

3. Once you have located your company file click Verify Accounts. If all items are complete you will see a message that reads “QuickBooks verification has completed successfully.”

4. Click OK. (Note: If you receive the message above please proceed to step 10 )

5. If all items are NOT correct you will see the following message:

6. Double click the item in red and enter a name where it says G/L Account.

7. Click OK.

8. Click Verify Accounts again and this time you should see a message that reads “QuickBooks verification has completed successfully.”

9. Click OK.

10. Click Export
