Liberty utilizes the following bar code types:
Interleaved 2 of 5 (for tags)
BarCode39 (for Order Picklists)
Most scanners are programmable and can be programmed to support these bar code types. Most NEW scanners typically come with these bar codes pre-programmed. For assistance with programming bar code scanners purchased outside of Resaleworld, please contact the manufacturer and ask them for help programming your scanner; to support Interleaved 2 of 5 and/or BarCode39.
Another tip - make sure a carriage return is enabled after the scanning of said bar code. This makes the scanner "press enter" after scanning something. If a carriage return isn't enabled after a scan, you'll then have to hit "Enter" on your keyboard - and that can be a pain!
