How to use Category Discounts

Open the POS Module and click on Setup > Maintain Category Discounts.

Click the Add button.

Enter a description for the Sale and select the category for the items you want placed on sale. Note: This effects all items entered into the specified category.

Be sure to check the Active Box and select an expire date.
You can now click OK to proceed.
Click Close to continue or Add to place another category on sale.

The following sale depicts what will occur if an item from a category used in a category sale is sold.

This completes the process required to utilize the Category Discount feature.
