View Full Version : I ran the Purge Utility and it didn't work!

This is something that we here from time to time in Support. As of v3.1.2.325...

...there is only one outstanding issue - on certain databases, CLIENT records (Consignor Accounts) are not removed from the database after "Deleting" them from within Liberty. Other than that one issue, there are no known issues with this module. Furthermore, this module underwent a THOROUGH debugging process at the beginning of 2008. The utility is air-tight when it comes to purging data.

The most common reason for the Purge Utility "not working," is based on the settings selected before purging. Since the purge is based on SALES (not item received dates, rather, sale dates), one will not see "Available" items OR items sold AFTER the selected sale date, be removed from the database.

If you have items that truly show a "Sale Date" prior to the date you selected during the purge process, A) make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Purge Utility from My Resaleworld and then B) contact Technical Support so they can verify this.
