View Full Version : How do I change the Payment Account for existing consignors?

In Liberty, "Payment Accounts" are the accounts from which you run Payouts. This could be a "Check" or a "Cash" account. The Payment Account that all new consignors will be set to is configured under Tools > Options > Account > Payment Code.

Changing this only does so for new accounts though, not existing accounts. So what is one to do!!!???

Under Activities > Accounting > Change Payment Accounts, you can change the Payment Account for existing accounts! If you no longer do cash payouts, you would need to change all accounts that are set to "Cash" to your "Check" account. To do this, just use the Change Payment Accounts routine!

1. Select the range of accounts you would like to update
2. Select the Current Payment Account (e.g. "Cash")
3. Select the New Payment Account (e.g. "Check")
4. Click "OK"

That's it!
