If after installing and configuring the TSC thermal printer you discover, while using the single tag format, that the bar code is printing to high causing the stop gap in the tag to cut off part of the barcode, the following instructions will correct this for you.

NOTE
These adjustments will affect all your tag formats. If you are using only single tags then follow the directions below. If you use both single and double tags in your store please install another printer driver called Single Tags using the settings below.

Leave all other settings as they were previously configured during the intial install of the TSC printer. Only change the settings shown below

1. Click on Start
2. Click on Settings or Control Panel
3. Click on Printers and Faxes
4. Right click on the Bar Code Printer DT02450 Icon
5. Left click on Properties
6. Left click on the General Tab
7. Left click on Printing Preferences Button at the bottom
8. Click on the Advanced Setup Tab
9. In the Reference section change the Y Offset to 0.05
10. Click on Apply
11. Click on Ok
12. Now you should be back to the properties window
13. Click on the Advanced tab at the top
14. Click on the Printing Defaults Button at the bottom

Note
The following settings are exactly the same as the settings in the General Tab above.

15. Click on the Advanced Setup tab
16. In the Reference section change the Y Offset to 0.05
17. Click on Apply
18. Click on Ok

Now close Liberty and reopen it so Liberty will see the new changes to the driver. You will now see the bar code is dropped down just a bit and clear of the stop gap.
