During updates or just because Windows runs into *problems, Services can become damaged/corrupted. If you are seeing messages such as "Failed To Connect To the Database" when you first turn on your computer (before you even attempt to launch Liberty), uninstalling the RWX Helper Service will fix this.
***NOTE*** - You would still be able to access Liberty, that error would only appear when Windows was first loading.
1. Go to My Computer
2. Go to Local Disc C:\
3. Go to RWD
4. Right-click the RWXHelpService.exe icon and choose "Send To"
5. Choose "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
6. On your Desktop, right-click the new RWXHelpService.exe icon and choose "Properties"
7. In the Target field, it will show C:\RWD\RWXHelpService. You will need to change this to show C:\RWD\RWXHelpService -uninstall
8. Click Apply
9. Click Ok
10. Double-click the shortcut on your Desktop - you will see a message letting you know the Service has been uninstalled
!!!Reboot your computer!!!
11. Once Windows has restarted, modify this RWXHelpService.exe shortcut to show C:\RWD\RWXHelpService -install
12. Click Apply
13. Click Ok
14. Double-click the shortcut on your Desktop - you will see a message letting you know the Service has been installed
You can now delete this shortcut from your Desktop. This procedure re-installs the RWX Helper Service and should resolve any *corruption with the Service.
