"Importing" Data Into L4C

If you have been using other Consignment/Drop-Off Store Software packages and are interested in importing data into L4C, it will need to be in a particular format - .CSV (Comma-Separated Value). Liberty has two utilities for importing data - one for "Clients" (Accounts) and one for "Inventory" (Items). Accounts must be imported first so that you will have somewhere to import Items to. These .CSV files must be "arranged" in a particular format (i.e. first name, last name, etc.). Each utility details exactly how the data will need to be laid out within each .CSV file, respectively.

These utilities are available for download below. While Resaleworld.com can provide you with utilities for importing these .CSV files, Resaleworld.com is unable to support 3rd party applications, "formatting" .CSV files, etc. If you are unfamiliar with any of these file-types or the processes involved in importing/exporting data, please contact an IT Professional in your area or your Network Administrator for assistance with this process. Please do not contact Resaleworld.com for assistance with getting your data out of your 3rd party applications or manipulating/formatting .CSV files.

I imported inventory into L4C and, out of 1992 records, only 19 were imported. What am I missing?

How would you import the categories?

By this i mean two things:
1)Importing / exporting actual categories

and

2) Importing items and choosing a category... how would your format this? Can you attach a sample import file?

I left the category column blank. It worked fine for importing consignors. When I look at the preview, the info looks correct.

You don't need category to import consignors.... you do for items...

Can someone upload a sample import file(s) for consignors, and items.

Some more questions regarding item import from .csv file..

How can you pick a price code?--> it seems to only use the default pc
How can you pick a marketplace? --> now it seems to set all to shoprw and READY even without a photo

We need a way to sell items at an estate sale...
we may not have internet... so we will need to use excel
